I took my wife, her sisters, and mother for Mother’s Day and it was amazing. My wife said the alcoholic drinks were phenomenal and the food was spectacular as well. The staff was very friendly and they even offered sugar free options for drinks. 10/10 recommend.

Blanco Cocina Cantina in Coronado offers a vibrant, upscale take on Mexican cuisine, and our recent visit did not disappoint. After a short wait, we were seated on a cozy patio with a charming view of the iconic Hotel del Coronado — a perfect setting to enjoy the coastal ambiance. We started with the short rib nachos, and they set the tone for the evening. Generously layered with tender, flavorful meat and plenty of gooey cheese, each bite delivered on both texture and taste. Nothing was skimped on here — these nachos are a must-try. Next came the charred street corn, and I can confidently say it's the best I've had — and I’ve had more than a few. Perfectly roasted with a smoky finish and rich seasoning, it struck an ideal balance without overpowering the natural sweetness of the corn. Blanco strikes a great mix of polished dining with casual energy, and the service was friendly and efficient. If you're in Coronado and looking for elevated Mexican food with a view, this spot should be high on your list.

I had the queso and the sweet potato enchiladas with caramelized onions added. I also had a mezcal paloma. The enchiladas were really good!! The queso was a 7.5-8/10. The paloma was way too sweet so I had to have them add a shot and pay for a double. Brenna was sweet and pretty attentive

Lauren was an awesome waitress, took care of our needs during our Visit just very professional young lady with lots of knowledge of the menu items. The food was delicious and the short ribs melted in your mouth. The rice and beans had lots of flavor. The restaurant was clean and well organized.

The chicken fajitas and mahi tacos are spectacular ! We usually go to the Friars road location since parking is better there but decided to give this one a try and we were not disappointed. They even have a to go taco window and nice outdoor seating. Dog friendly and great staff.

Wonderful experience - had a very tasty lunch, service was attentive, careful and sensible. BBQ pork tacos are the highlight, I highly recommend!

If you are in the Coronado area, this is the place to eat! The margaritas are super fresh, the bartenders and servers are friendly, and the food is delicious. Highly recommend the charro beans and the mango ceviche. Make this your next dinner spot!

We were staying on Coronado Island and looking for a good Mexican Restaurant. Another Guest we met at our resort recommended Blanco Cocina & Cantina. We like to sit at the bar, Malory was our bartender, we followed her advice from the menu. She was spot on. Personally, I really wanted a hamburger and not a Mexican dinner. But the smash burger was truly magical as well as the fish and chicken tacos. The seasoning on the fries and the burger were out of this world May be the best burger I have ever had. For Desert we shared a chocolate tres leches. Wow. the atmosphere was wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Highly recommend. Thank you Malory. But wait there is more, the wallpaper in the restroom is hilarious.
